jhaṣe sa indau lagne ghaṭa mṛga mṛga indreṣu sahitair yama āra arkair yo abhūt sa khalu manujaḥ śāsti vasudhām/
aje sāre mūrtau śaśi gṛha gate ca amara gurau/surejye vā lagne dharaṇi patir anyo api guṇavān//(śikhariṇī)

When Pisces with the Moon is in the ascendant, and Saturn, Mars, and the Sun are situated in Aquarius, Capricorn, and Leo, whoever is born truly rules the earth.
When Mars is in Aries in the ascendant, and Jupiter is in the sign of the Moon, or Jupiter is in the ascendant, another virtuous ruler of the earth [arises].
