kanyā santati yoga jñāna
sitaśaśivarge dhīrasthe tābhyāṃ dṛṣṭe vā'pi saṃyukte |
prāyeṇa kanyakāḥ syuḥ samarāśigaṇe'pi cānyathā putrāḥ ||

Knowledge of the combination for female progeny:
In a division of Venus or the Moon, occupying the house of intellect, aspected by or conjoined with both of them,
there will generally be daughters; likewise in an even sign or division; otherwise, sons.
