prakārāntara se strī saṃkhyā kā jñāna
prāyeṇa candrasitayorvarge yukte'thavāpi jāmitre |
dṛṣṭe vā gahupatnayo bhavanti śukre viśeṣeṇa ||

Knowledge of the number of wives in another manner:
Generally, when the Moon and Venus are combined in their own divisional harmonic or in the seventh house, / or aspected [by them], there are many wives, especially when Venus [is so situated].
