9.49

jātaka ke pitā va māta ke maraṇa yoga kā jñāna
kṣīṇe śaśini sapāpe mātā mriyate pitā ravau tadvat |
balibhirdṛṣṭe miśrairvyādhiḥ saumyaiḥ śubhaṃ bhavati ||

Knowledge of the planetary combination for the death of the native's parents:
When the Moon is waning and conjoined with a malefic, the mother dies; likewise the father when the Sun [is so];
when aspected by strong mixed planets, there is illness; by benefics, there is good fortune.
