puraṃ ripor bhūmipatini(rni)hanyāc chatror aniṣṭagrahadiṭi(ṅni)viṣṭiḥ(ṣṭaḥ)/
yuddhasya yātrāsama eva kālaḥ kū(krū)reṣu lagneṣu ca kūṭāyudhaḥ(kūṭayuddhaṃ)//

A king may destroy the enemy's city when situated in the direction where the enemy has inauspicious planets. / The time for battle is identical to that of the military expedition; and deceitful warfare [is waged] when malefic signs are in the ascendant.
