The Long Āgama Sūtra 23.51

23.51

爾時，世尊告究羅檀頭曰：「善哉！善哉！汝觀如來，正得其宜。是時，剎利王為大祀者，豈異人乎？勿造斯觀，即吾身是也，我於爾時極大施慧。」

The Bhagavān then told Kūṭatāṇḍya , “Good, good! You’ve examined the Tathāgata and correctly ascertained that he is proper. When that warrior king performed his large sacrifice, was he a different person? Don’t imagine that, for he was myself. That was when I reached the utmost wisdom of great generosity.”
