時，弊宿聞彼梵志經營施已，有如是言：「願使弊宿今世、後世不獲果報。」即命梵志而告之曰：「汝當有是言耶？」

Padāśva heard that that wanderer had planned the donation and then said, “Please don’t let Padāśva obtain a meritorious reward for this in the present or the afterlife.” He summoned the wanderer and asked him, “Is that what you said?”
