Therefore, it is established that whatever exists or is produced is impermanent alone. By that much alone, there is positive concomitance with merely the proving property, and the definition of an essential nature reason for the property to be proved is established. If non-observation were not an epistemic instrument here as well, because the pervasion by lack of capacity would not be established for the very illegality of succession and simultaneity, there would also be no pervasion for the earlier reason. If another proof were adduced for this, it would lead to an infinite regress—if so objected, it is not so; because non-observation is not precluded from proving non-existence, for that which establishes negative concomitance of the reason against the contradiction of the probandum through non-observation is here called a defeating epistemic instrument because it adduces a contradiction. In that way, when that reason is in the absence of the probandum, since it is invalidated by self-contradiction possessing an epistemic instrument, its non-existence is to be established. Otherwise, if this defeating instrument is not established for it, doubt is difficult to dispel. Not all non-apprehension of entities is a defeating instrument; capacity regarding that is established by pervasion through succession and simultaneity, because there is no other alternative. Therefore, since non-apprehension of the pervading property invalidates capacity in what is non-momentary, and because pervasion by lack of capacity is established for the illegality of succession and simultaneity, it does not lead to an infinite regress. Thus, applications of an essential nature reason are established members of proof; not establishing that, the proponent who fails to state the members of proof incurs a point of defeat, precisely because the intended thesis was not established. Even if the proving reason is accepted for the entity, the capacity has not been demonstrated. An effect reason is also established as a member of proof when that which is adduced
