26. The English term “realms” has been added to the translation for the sake of clarity and assumes that the term bde ba in the Tibetan witnesses refers to the “higher realms” (bde ’gro). It is possible, however, to interpret this phrase to mean simply maintaining contact with “pleasant things.”
