atthesu jātesu sukhā sakhāyā puṃñaṃ sukhaṃ jīvitasaṃkhayamhi |
toṣṭī sukhā yā itarī[ ] sabbassa pāpassa sukhaṃ prahāṇaṃ ||

Friends are a happiness when needs arise; merit is a happiness at the end of life;
contentment is a happiness with whatever [comes]; abandonment of all evil is a happiness.
