taṃ ve prasahate māro vāto rukkhaṃ va dubbalaṃ |

śubhānudarśinaṃ nityam idriyaiś cāpy asaṃvṛtaṃ |
bhojane cāpy amātrajñaṃ hīnaṃ jāgarikāsu ca |
taṃ vai prasahate rāgo vāto vṛkṣam ivābalaṃ |

Māra truly overpowers him, as the wind [overpowers] a weak tree. / Uv 29:15 / Always seeing the beautiful, unrestrained also in the senses, / intemperate also in food, and deficient in vigilance— / passion truly overpowers him, as the wind [overpowers] a weak tree.
