yassendriyāṇi samataṃ gatāni aśśā yathā sārathinā sudāntā |
prahīṇamānassa anāsavassa devā pi tassa prihayanti tāyino ||

Whose sense faculties have attained tranquility, like horses well tamed by a charioteer,
Whose conceit is abandoned, who is free from cankers—even gods envy that protector.
