pramādam apramādena yadā nudati paṇḍito |
praṃñāprāsādam āruhya aśoko śokiniṃ prajāṃ |
parvvataṭṭho va bhoma 'ṭṭhe dhīro bāle avecchati ||

19 Dhp 28 / When the wise person expels heedlessness through heedfulness, / mounting the palace of wisdom, sorrowless, / the steadfast looks down on the grieving people, the fools, as one standing on a mountain [looks upon] those on the ground.
