pūtimatsyāṃ kuśāgreṇa yo naro hy upanahyate |
kuśāpi pūtikā vānti hy evaṃ pāpopasevanāḥ ||
Uv 25:7 / When a person wraps rotten fish with the tip of kuśa grass, / the kuśa grasses also smell rotten; such are associations with the evil.
