yasya dharmaṃ vijānīyāt samyaksaṃbuddhadeśitam |
satkṛtyainaṃ namasyeta hy agnihotram iva dvijaḥ ||

Uv 33.66
From whomsoever one might understand the dharma taught by the fully enlightened Buddha, / one should revere him respectfully, as a twice-born does the sacrificial fire.
