196. According to Vasubandhu, this is the first of two lists of ten qualities. They are ten in Vasubandhu, the Sanskrit, and the Chinese. However, at this point, the Kangyur version has “absence of a self” as the third of what would then be eleven qualities. It was therefore likely a later insertion.
