論曰：初序分，修多羅顯示利益成就畢竟故。是中成就畢竟，有六種功德：一、法師成就畢竟功德；二、開法門成就畢竟功德；三、弟子成就畢竟功德；四、大總相成就畢竟功德；五、因果自相成就畢竟功德；六、分別總相成就畢竟功德。

The treatise says: As for the first, the introductory section, the sūtra reveals that benefit is accomplished ultimately. In this, ultimate accomplishment has six kinds of merit: first, the merit of the dharmabhāṇaka's ultimate accomplishment; second, the merit of opening the dharmaparyāya in ultimate accomplishment; third, the merit of the disciples' ultimate accomplishment; fourth, the merit of the great sāmānyalakṣaṇa in ultimate accomplishment; fifth, the merit of the cause and effect svalakṣaṇa in ultimate accomplishment; sixth, the merit of distinguishing the sāmānyalakṣaṇa in ultimate accomplishment.
