mama tāvadanena yāti vṛddhiṃ kuśalaṃ bhāvayituṃ prasādavegaḥ /
atha matsamadhātureva paśyedaparo 'pyenamato 'pi sārthako 'yam //

Through this, at least, my surge of faith
to cultivate the wholesome increases;
moreover, should another of a nature similar to mine see it,
this too would make it worthwhile. // 1.3
