rātrau yathā meghaghanāndhakāre vidyutkṣaṇaṃ darśayati prakāśaṃ
buddhānubhāvena tathā kadācillokasya puṇyeṣu matiḥ kṣaṇaṃ syāt //
Just as in the night a flash of lightning reveals light for an instant amid dense, dark clouds, / so, through the power of the buddha, the intellect of worldly folk may occasionally turn for a moment toward merits.
