sa itaś cyuto manu-jeṣu karma-vaśād a-budho hi vimūḍhaḥ | narakeṣv atha tirya-gatīṣu preta-gatīṣu ca vindati duṣkham ||

When he falls from here among humans, that unwise, utterly deluded fool, / under the power of karma, finds suffering in the hells, in animal destinies, and in ghost destinies.'
