39. This is the verse that concludes the Buddha’s discourse in The Diamond Cutter Sūtra (Vajracchedikā, Toh 16, folio 132.b). The Chinese version indicates that this verse was spoken by “I” (wo jin lüe shuo ci 我今略說此), presumably the Buddha, considering that the conclusion of the text says “The Blessed One has spoken” (shi zun shuo ci jing yi 世尊說此經已).
