pure, / Just like a sage, a complete Buddha. / He is capable of all rites, / Completely free of all faults. / Then, someone else devoted to the yoga / Of mantras and knowing the ritual, / Wishing to benefit sentient beings, / Should perform the rite of the syllable VA. / With a mind born of compassion / Directed toward worldly suffering, / That protector should completely fill / His own entire body / With a white flow, / Like snow and cow's milk. / Having then generated certainty, / He should emit from all limbs, / From every single pore of the skin, / Completely immaculate streams of water. / With this water, he should completely fill / These lands without exception. / Whoever drinks this water, / Or even touches it with their hands, / Will definitively awaken to bodhi; / There is no doubt about this. / On all limbs the syllable RA, / Dense with peaceful, blazing garlands / Radiating forth everywhere, / Should be contemplated in deep meditative absorption. / At that time, when the yogin / Sends forth the blaze that illuminates everything, / Through the emanations of RA, / The mantrin will act according to his wish. / The syllable RA is in the upper part of the body, / And the syllable VA in the navel cavity; / The fire and the flowing water / Will then be displayed simultaneously. / The cold sufferings of the hells / Are utterly pacified by RA. / For the mantrin abiding in the secret mantra system, / Heat and the like are also pacified by VA. / The syllable HA, accompanied by banners, / Should be placed beneath the syllable RA. / Through it, even sinful people / Will quickly accomplish their rites. / The mantrin, seated on the Great Power, / Should initiate the water rites; / All activities, such as dispelling, / Will be performed; there is no doubt about this. / Wind is taught to be all-pervading; / It is also that which destroys everything. / The rites of diverse kinds, / Arising from the various divisions, / Should be perfectly performed according to this ritual / In the center of the physical maṇḍala. / If one recites while thoroughly purifying the mind, the mind will become completely pure.
