2.18

「誦呪七遍，縷作七結，繫脚（丹作膝）。此大神呪，能令行人心得清淨、離諸疾病，心得解脫、慧得解脫，消眾毒藥、無眾惱患，眾邪妖魅悉皆消滅。如為一人，眾多亦然。應當讀誦極令通利，在在處處我為閻浮提諸眾生故結此神呪，治諸蠱魅消眾毒藥，當令流布遍閻浮提。末法眾生薄福所致，莫不為此眾邪所惱，勤教讀誦普使令知。」

"Recite the spell seven times, tie seven knots in thread, and bind it to the foot (one edition has 'knee'). This great dhāraṇī spell can cause the practitioner's mind to attain purity and be freed from all diseases, achieve liberation of mind and liberation by wisdom, neutralize all poisons, become free of all afflictions and disasters, and completely eradicate all demonic sprites and possessing spirits. As it is for one person, so it is for many. One should read and recite it so that it flows with utter fluency. Wherever it may be, for the sake of the sentient beings of Jambudvīpa, I have established this dhāraṇī spell to cure all gu poisons and possessing spirits and to neutralize all toxic substances; let it be circulated throughout Jambudvīpa. Sentient beings of the Latter Dharma age, owing to their meager merit, will all be plagued by these various evils; diligently instruct them to read and recite it, making it universally known."
