2.47

此大神呪，能令行人心得清淨、離諸疾病，心得解脫、慧得解脫，消眾毒藥無眾惱患，眾邪妖魅悉皆消滅。如為一人，眾多亦然。應當讀誦極令通利，在在處處我為閻浮提諸眾生故，結此神呪，治諸蠱魅消眾毒藥，當令流布遍閻浮提。末法眾生薄福所致，莫不為此眾邪所惱，懃教讀誦普使令知。

This great dhāraṇī-mantra can cause the practitioner's mind to become pure and free from all illnesses, to attain liberation of mind and liberation by wisdom, to eliminate all poisons without affliction or distress, and to eradicate all demonic specters and evil beings. As it is for one person, so it is for many. One should read and recite it until it is thoroughly fluent. Everywhere, for the sake of all sentient beings of Jambudvīpa, I formulate this dhāraṇī-mantra to treat all forms of sorcery and eliminate all poisons, and it should be circulated throughout Jambudvīpa. Sentient beings in the Latter Age of the Dharma have meager merit and are all afflicted by these various evils; diligently teach them to read and recite it, making it known everywhere.
