4.53

「我於閻浮提，典主十六國，
餘國皆易化，唯此國難教。
群臣皆諂偽，貪濁多姦詭，
旱澇不平均，莫不由此事。」

“In Jambudvīpa, I oversee sixteen kingdoms;
The other kingdoms are all easy to transform, but this kingdom alone is hard to teach.
The ministers are all flattering and false, greedy, corrupt, and full of treacherous deceit;
Droughts and floods are unbalanced—none of this is not caused by these deeds!”
