The great dhāraṇī spoken by the fourth [Buddha], Krakucchanda Buddha, is called the vajraketu-samādhi. It can also cure the various evil afflictions, sores, warts, and grave illnesses of sentient beings in the three realms and the five defilements, and all karmic obstacles as well as retributive obstacles and various defiled afflictive obstacles can be eliminated. Chánnàdōuxīzhà (in the language of the Jin: "gathering up the sufferings of sentient beings"), causing them to emerge from the mire of sensual desire. Those who hear it are freed from the three defilements of greed, anger, and arrogance.
