"Recite the spell three times; tie three knots in yellow thread and tie it around the neck. The spiritual power of this dhāraṇī can cause the great trichiliocosm to quake in six ways, causing mountains, rivers, and stone cliffs to heave, surge, and submerge; the sentient beings within it will all generate the mind of unexcelled awakening. It can eliminate the grave sins of birth and death from seven thousand hundred million kalpas, and all the pains of illness of sentient beings will be eliminated without remainder. If any sentient beings write down, recite, or read the name of a single verse of this dhāraṇī, their grave sins and karmic obstacles from hundreds of thousands of ten-millions of billions of Ganges-sands of lifetimes will be crushed and destroyed without remainder."
