"Ratnacandraprabhā Bodhisattva now wishes to speak a great dhāraṇī spell to remove all sins regarding dhyāna-concentration and dispel all defilements and obstacles, completely dispelling all illnesses of the five aggregates and four elements. For measureless kalpas sentient beings have been unable to cultivate dhyāna-concentration, and therefore have long wandered and drowned in the sea of birth and death, swirling in the waves of the stream of birth and death with no one capable of waking them. Pitying these beings, I now wish to speak a great dhāraṇī spell to remove the defilements of their three poisons, uproot their feet of ignorance, illuminate them with the mirror of wisdom, bestow upon them the water of dhyāna-concentration, grow the sprouts of bodhi, and cause them to reach the shore of nirvāṇa. There is a spell named Wushe (in the language of Jin: 'removes the defilements of dhyāna-concentration, dispels the sins that obstruct the path, and is fully capable of destroying all demons and evil spirits').
