佛告阿難：「汝取婆囉彌、支多翅（白呵梨勒）、畢鉢利三物合，清晨呪一千遍，以蘇蜜和服，即得一聞受持。」
The Buddha told Ānanda: "Take the three substances brāhmī, citraka (white harītakī), and pippalī, combine them, empower them with the mantra one thousand times at dawn, mix them with ghee and honey, and consume it; one will immediately attain the retention of teachings upon a single hearing."
