於月生一日，設使左耳痛南向坐，右耳痛北向坐。東向門，病人門內坐，呪師門外坐，水亦門外呪二七遍三𠹀之。

On the first day of the new moon, if the left ear aches, have them sit facing south; if the right ear aches, have them sit facing north. Facing an eastward door, the sick person sits inside the door and the mantra master sits outside the door; empower the water outside the door by chanting the mantra two times seven [fourteen] times, and spit it three times.
