The power of this dhāraṇī can cause the great trichiliocosm to undergo the six kinds of earthquakes. If any sentient beings therein hear the phrases of this dhāraṇī pass their ears even once, all their grave sins, slanders, and five heinous offenses spanning hundreds of thousands of myriads of koṭis and nayutas of eons will be extinguished without remainder. If there are sentient beings who cultivate, read, and recite it, reducing sleep for seven days and seven nights, that person in their present body will attain the siṃharāja-samādhi, and hundreds of thousands of Buddhas will appear before them to bestow vyākaraṇa. Furthermore, if a powerful enemy of a neighbouring country seeks to invade and harass their land, the king at that time, together with his ministers, should bathe cleanly, wear fresh, clean clothes, and atop a high tower, facing their direction, first pay homage to the Buddhas of the ten directions, and then pay homage to me, Kanakamuni Buddha, invoke my name three times, burn incense, and scatter flowers; at that time he should speak the dhāraṇī phrases. Through the majestic spiritual power of this dhāraṇī, Mahābrahmā, Śakra, and the Four Great Heavenly Kings will rain down swords from the sky; a great black wind will arise from all four directions, preventing their troops from seeing the light of the sun and moon; the yakṣas will suck their vital energy, so that those destined to die will die, and they will naturally disperse and retreat. Such is the majestic spiritual power of the great dhāraṇī.
