"I hear that in Jambudvīpa,
The bodhisattva mahāsattvas
Each proclaim the wondrous practices,
The four means of embrace, and the universal vows.
Having heard these lines,
The eye of my mind was suddenly opened.
May all the heavenly hosts
Attain this pure eye faculty,
Permanently sever the flow of birth and death,
And universally ascend to nirvāṇa."
