The method of practicing it: before an image of Avalokiteśvara, smear the ground with fragrant mud, make offerings of incense and flowers, and recite during the six periods of the day and night, reciting one hundred and twenty times in each period. According to what is sought, Avalokiteśvara will manifest to the practitioner in the form they ought to see, and whatever is sought will all be obtained as desired.
