1.29

「若比丘尼，為破和合僧勤方便。諸比丘尼語是比丘尼：『汝莫為破和合僧勤方便，當與僧和合。僧和合故，歡喜無諍，一心一學如水乳合，共弘師教，安樂行。』如是諫，堅持不捨，應第二、第三諫。第二第三諫捨是事善。不捨者，是比丘尼三諫，犯僧伽婆尸沙可悔過。

"Whatever bhikṣuṇī diligently employs expedients to cause a schism in the harmonious saṅgha—if the bhikṣuṇīs speak to this bhikṣuṇī: 'Do not diligently employ expedients to cause a schism in the harmonious saṅgha; you should be in harmony with the saṅgha. Because the saṅgha is harmonious, there is joy and no dispute, a single mind and a single training blended like water and milk, together propagating the Master's teaching and walking in ease'—if when thus admonished she persists and will not desist, she should be admonished a second and a third time. If upon being admonished a second and a third time she desists from this matter, that is good; if she does not desist, that bhikṣuṇī, upon three admonitions, commits a saṅghāvaśeṣa requiring deśanā.
