「若比丘尼，助破和合僧，若一若二若眾多，語諸比丘尼言：『是比丘尼所說，是知說非不知說、說法不說非法、說律不說非律，皆是我等心所忍樂。』諸比丘尼語是比丘尼：『汝莫作是語：「是比丘尼所說，是知說非不知說、說法不說非法、說律不說非律，皆是我等心所忍樂。」何以故？是比丘尼非知說、非說法、非說律，汝莫樂助破和合僧。當樂助和合僧，僧和合故，歡喜無諍，一心一學如水乳合，共弘師教，安樂行。』如是諫，堅持不捨，應第二、第三諫。第二第三諫捨是事善。不捨者，是比丘尼三諫，犯僧伽婆尸沙可悔過。

"Whatever bhikṣuṇī assists in causing a schism in the harmonious saṅgha, whether one, two, or many, saying to the bhikṣuṇīs: 'What this bhikṣuṇī says is spoken with knowledge, not without knowledge; it speaks the Dharma, not non-Dharma; it speaks the Vinaya, not non-Vinaya; these are all things that our minds approve and delight in'—if the bhikṣuṇīs speak to this bhikṣuṇī: 'Do not speak thus: "What this bhikṣuṇī says is spoken with knowledge, not without knowledge; it speaks the Dharma, not non-Dharma; it speaks the Vinaya, not non-Vinaya; these are all things that our minds approve and delight in." Why is that? This bhikṣuṇī does not speak with knowledge, does not speak the Dharma, and does not speak the Vinaya. Do not delight in assisting a schism in the harmonious saṅgha! You should delight in assisting the harmonious saṅgha. Because the saṅgha is harmonious, there is joy and no dispute, a single mind and a single training blended like water and milk, together propagating the Master's teaching and walking in ease'—if when thus admonished she persists and will not desist, she should be admonished a second and a third time. If upon being admonished a second and a third time she desists from this matter, that is good; if she does not desist, that bhikṣuṇī, upon three admonitions, commits a saṅghāvaśeṣa requiring deśanā.
