入堂室有五事；一者當禮上坐、二者不得解袈裟著上座前捨起、三者不得大聲、四者不得聚語笑、五者上座說經當一意聽。

In entering the hall and chambers there are five matters: first, pay obeisance to the sthaviras; second, do not untie the kāṣāya, lay it in front of a sthavira, and leave; third, do not make loud noises; fourth, do not gather to talk and laugh; fifth, when a sthavira expounds the sūtras, listen with single-minded devotion.
