1.34

復有五事：一者當先到等，不得令下著地；二者當下兩頭，不得令著足；三者著袈裟不得正向佛塔亦莫背；四者不得向上坐，若三師亦莫背；五者襞袈裟不得以口銜，亦不得以兩手奮。

There are also five matters: first, it must first be leveled evenly and must not be allowed to touch the ground at the bottom; second, lowering the two ends, one must not let them touch the feet; third, when putting on the kāṣāya, one must neither directly face the Buddha stūpa nor turn one's back to it; fourth, one must neither face the sthaviras or the three masters nor turn one's back to them; fifth, when folding the kāṣāya, one must not hold it in the mouth, nor may one flap it with both hands.
