1.39

復有五事：一者天雨當脫履塔下乃上禮佛；二者已當從次第坐依大小坐當問訊；三者僧有眾事，若使行即當行；四者欲出行，當有所報師令知；五者聞揵槌聲即當出會。

There are also five matters: first, when it rains, one should take off shoes at the foot of the stūpa before ascending to pay homage to the Buddha; second, having done so, one should sit in proper order according to seniority and exchange inquiries; third, if the saṅgha has collective affairs, if dispatched to act, one should promptly act; fourth, when wishing to go out, one must notify the master to let him know; fifth, upon hearing the sound of the gaṇḍī, one should promptly go out to assemble.
