至優婆塞家有五事應往：一者為僧使、二者分衛、三者阿其云、四者請飯、五者疾病死亡。其餘一切皆不應往。

There are five matters for which one should go to an upāsaka's house: First, on an errand for the saṅgha; second, for piṇḍapāta; third, as an āgantuka; fourth, being invited for a meal; fifth, in case of illness or death. For all other matters, one should not go.
