掃除又有五事：一者不得去墡土、二者當自手拾草、三者當取中土轉著下處、四者不得令四角掃處有迹、五者掃塔前六步使淨。

Sweeping and cleaning has another five matters: 1. One must not remove the white clay. 2. One should pick up weeds with one's own hands. 3. One should take earth from the center and move it to lower spots. 4. Do not leave footprints where the four corners have been swept. 5. Sweep cleanly for six paces in front of the stūpa.
