設大比丘僧會時，掃除講堂中有七事：一者當早起行視門戶開未；二者當撿空燈當摒之；三者當掃拭佛像去前宿花；四者當燒香著佛前；五者當作大燈火著堂中央，却正比丘僧坐席；六者僧比丘事畢去，徐當灑地；七者當更淨掃地。

When the great bhikṣusaṅgha assembles, sweeping and cleaning the lecture hall has seven matters: 1. One should rise early and walk around to check whether the doors and gates are opened or not. 2. One should inspect the empty lamps and clear them away. 3. One should sweep and wipe the Buddha statues and remove the withered flowers from the previous night. 4. One should burn incense before the Buddha. 5. One should set a large lamp in the center of the hall, and arrange the sitting mats of the bhikṣusaṅgha in order. 6. When the bhikṣusaṅgha's business is finished and they depart, one should slowly sprinkle the ground with water. 7. One should then sweep the ground thoroughly clean again.
