2.84

從是五德：一者後世在所從生，若有被病著床，當有自然持神藥往瞻視護汝。二者後世若在厄難處，無所聞知，當有自然呼者。三者後世若在無穀水漿之處，當有自然持香甘美食往與之。四者後世若在不安隱處地飢渴，當有自然持甘露與之。五者已受是福，後世會當得道神足。

From these five virtues: first, wherever you are born in future lives, if you are stricken with illness and confined to bed, someone will naturally bring divine medicine to visit and care for you. Second, in future lives, if you are in a place of distress and difficulty, with nothing heard or known, someone will naturally call to you. Third, in future lives, if you are in a place without grain, water, or broth, someone will naturally bring fragrant, sweet, and delicious food to give you. Fourth, in future lives, if you are hungry and thirsty in an uncomfortable place, someone will naturally bring ambrosia to give you. Fifth, having received these merits, in future lives you will certainly attain the path and psychic powers.
