Regarding saṅgha property, there are further fifteen virtues: first, when wishing to do something, one should inform the saṅgha; second, one must not misappropriate community property to conceal for one's private gain; third, one must not use community property with personal favor to benefit close relatives or friends; fourth, one must not seize community property to give it away secretly in one's own name; fifth, one should frequently look after and maintain the bedding of the community; sixth, if someone is ill and in pain, one should examine and look after them, providing whatever they think of and need; seventh, one should respectfully look after the bhikṣusaṅgha; eighth, when preparing food for the bhikṣusaṅgha, make it pure and clean; ninth, one should accommodate the intentions of brāhmaṇas; tenth, just as one serves spirits and deities, with no difference; eleventh, one must not act on one's own anger or delight; twelfth, wishing to act with purity, one must not expose one's body under the stove while working; thirteenth, at sunset, one should always get up oneself to inspect the gates and doors, checking whether all the bhikṣus' doors are closed or not; if one sees a stranger, do not scold them immediately, but ask: ‘Are you a śramaṇa?’, and if they say so, wait until tomorrow; fourteenth, one must not sweep cold toward warmth; fifteenth, one must not sweep warmth toward cold.
