There are further three matters: first, concerning everything, from what is like a hair up to what is immeasurable, one must not conceal anything. Second, from the śrāmaṇera on up to the duty monk, if there is illness or torn robes, one should purchase replacements for them, and must not treat this as a personal favor to seek renown; everything must be treated equally. Third, concerning all property of the stūpa or property belonging to the cāturdiśa-saṅgha, one must not freely circulate or remove it; such persons cannot first receive that merit. One who can guard these matters may serve as a karmadāna.
