問：「比丘作佛事，得佛奴牛驢馬，得借使不？」答：「若知本是佛物，不得；不知，得，以非法得故。」

It was asked, "If a bhikṣu performs a Buddha matter and obtains a cow, donkey, or horse belonging to a Buddha slave, may he borrow and use them?" It was answered, "If he knows that it was originally Buddha property, he may not; if he does not know, he may, because it was obtained improperly."
