問：「佛物出與人，取子自用，有罪不？」答：「與佛物同，體俱犯重。合子與佛，猶故無福，以壞法身而為形故。」

It was asked, "If one loans out Buddha property to others and takes the interest for personal use, is there an offence?" It was answered, "It is treated the same as the Buddha property itself; both in substance constitute a grave offence. Even if one gives the interest to the Buddha, there is still no merit, because the Dharmakāya was damaged for the sake of material form."
