問：「佛物出與人，取子息用，犯罪不？」答：「與佛物同，體俱犯重。出入合子與佛，由故無福，以壞法身而為形故。」

Question: "If the Buddha's property is lent out to others and the interest is used, is an offense committed?" Answer: "It is the same as the Buddha's property; taking the substance together with [the profit] constitutes a grave offense. Even if the principal along with the interest is given back to the Buddha, there is still no merit, because the dharmakāya has been injured for the sake of material form."
