問：「指物欲造佛經，更得他物，不用前物得爾不？」答：「不得。以許便是故也。」

It was asked, "If one designates property intending to produce a Buddha sūtra, but then obtains other materials and does not use the former property, is this permissible?" It was answered, "It is not permissible, because having promised it, it already belongs [to that purpose]."
