問：「先結界，後有大水、或掘坑長十五步、或復於中行欲，此界壞不？」答：「盡不壞。其人云，假使有掘大坑深廣一由旬，界猶不壞，況小小坑耶？」

Question: "If after a sīmā is demarcated there is a great flood, or a ditch fifteen paces long is dug, or sexual intercourse is engaged in within it, is this sīmā destroyed?" Answer: "None of these destroy it. That person said: even if a great trench one yojana deep and wide were dug, the sīmā would still not be destroyed, let alone a petty ditch!"
