問：「都不結不坐，受歲得不？」答：「若先不知有結、不知有坐法，受臘得，知便應向眾僧懺悔。若先知法，故違不得。」

Question: "If one neither binds nor sits for the retreat at all, does one obtain the rains year upon receiving pravāraṇā?" Answer: "If one previously did not know that there is an entry or know the rules of the retreat, upon receiving the rains seniority one obtains it, but once knowing, one should confess to the saṅgha. If one previously knew the rules and deliberately violated them, one does not obtain it."
